Minimum Experience or Qualification:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Must have at least 2 years bartending experience
• Exposure to a Point of Sales System advantageous
• Highly presentable
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

Job Spec will include but not limited to:

• To prepare and serve beverages and assisting waiters when needed
• Stock taking
• Keeping bar areas clean

All other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Hotel.

This is a small Country hotel and we have to work as a team and help out in all departments to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Job description

(Live In Position – SINGLE ACCOMMODATION) Country Hotel near Swellendam (Western Cape) requires a Bartender.  Applicant needs to be fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English).  Applicant must have a passion for guest relations, well spoken, previous Bar and Restaurant experience essential and of sober habits.  Drivers Licence required.

In the Hospitality industry there are no Long Weekends and Christmas Holidays, therefore we are looking at a single person with no dependents.

Own transport is advisable because of our remote location. We are situated 45km from Swellendam on the Breede River (of which most is gravel road). Interviews on the premises is essential, NO skype interviews.
